At the start of each day, Ruth makes sure to greet everyone in the room. She is thoughtful of others and if someone is missing she notices and asks about them. Ruth has a specific palette of colors she enjoys. A variety of reds, pinks and purples are her desired hues. She states that her bowling ball painting is the most valuable to her because of her love of the sport. Ruth tries an assortment of projects but her favorite subject matter involves names. She writes them in pens, pencils and markers and occasionally makes signs to decorate the studio space. When painting, Ruth enjoys using repetitive shapes such as circles, triangles and hearts. Through this repeating and the use of her usual palette, Ruth has created many unique designs and continues to come up with new ways to fuse the two.
