Building Bridges 2014

BB Logo

Building Bridges is The art event to attend in Austin.  The gala features more than 150 original pieces from both The Arc of the Arts students and local artists.  Over 50% of the work is created by artists from The Arc of the Arts Program.  The event will occur on October 22nd of this year.  We are holding the event at the Hyatt Regency Austin, located in downtown Austin.  If you haven’t attended before, it is a truly spectacular event.  Building Bridges gives us the chance to highlight the talent of the students of the art program and share the stories of clients of the Arc of the Capital Area.

In addition to the amazing art available, the evening is complimented by an elegant dinner.  Attendees will have an opportunity to bid on items in a stellar silent auction supported by more than 100 local business package donations as well as a live auction, featuring other original Arc of the Art’s masterpieces.  We look forward to seeing you this fall!

ARTISTS

If you are an artist and would like to contribute to an incredible event, choose a piece of your own to donate to our auction!  We love to see artwork from the community on display alongside the clients’ work.

The deadline to submit is August 1st.  Contact Grace Alrutz for an application at galrutz@arcofthecapitalarea.org or 512-476-7044 ext. 217

As a donor, you’ll be recognized by some of the savviest local businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals who support The Arc’s commitment to assist more than 2,000 families and people with disabilities to live independent lives in the community.  Your support will assist The Arc of the Capital Area in providing essential services for individuals and families affected by disability in Central Texas.
