The Rosedale School is back! Artists kicked-off the semester by learning about warm and cool colors by using a landscape of a sun setting over mountains and water. Artists learned that warm colors tend to make us feel warm and are usually associated with the sun, fire, and heat. Cool colors tend to make us feel calm and cool and are usually associated with the ocean, sky, and shadows.
The artists were given a prepared glue drawing of the landscape and oil pastels. Students started at the top with the warm sunset and worked their way down to the cool blue waves.
